Forklift Operator (2nd Shift) - Princeton, NJ
Location: Princeton, NJ
We are looking for a forklift operator to support our production operations. The role involves delivering and retrieving palletized materials safely and efficiently. You will operate powered industrial trucks including stand‑up, sit‑down, and walk‑behind forklifts, as well as drum handling equipment. Accuracy with scanning devices is essential for tracking materials. A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and GMP‑compliant work area is required.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and retrieve palletized materials to/from the production environment.
Ensure safe operation of powered industrial trucks (stand‑up, sit‑down, and walk‑behind).
Ensure safe handling of all motorized and non‑motorized drum handling equipment.
Use scanning equipment to track inventory.
Maintain a safe and clean work area in accordance with GMP.
Qualifications
High school diploma required.
Prior forklift experience.
Knowledge of inventory and manufacturing processes.
1–3 years of experience in inventory and chemical manufacturing.
Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Compensation and Benefits Salary: $23.00–$23.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive rewards package that includes annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs, and a broad range of other benefits. All benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements.
