Maintenance Technician III

Schedule:
Sunday–Tuesday (Every other Wednesday) 5:30 PM–6:00 AM. 4 built‑in hours of overtime every 2 weeks
Pay Range:
$35–$44 per hour
Responsibilities:
Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on simple/manual, semi‑automated, and certain aspects of fully automated manufacturing equipment.
Corrective maintenance activities include troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls, and electrical systems, and minor equipment performance improvement activities.
Supports equipment performance improvement projects and process validation activities.
Contributes to process optimization and scrap reduction efforts through equipment design improvements, improvements to operating and maintenance procedures, and maintenance activities.
Independently troubleshoots equipment with a high degree of quality and reliability.
Implements permanent corrective actions to eliminate recurrent problems.
Requirements:
High school degree or GED.
2‑5 years of troubleshooting experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic controls logic, PLCs, Ethernet communication, DeviceNet, and industrial networks; experience preferably in heavily regulated sectors (device, pharma, biotech, defense, aerospace).
2+ years of PLC experience required.
Experience with root‑cause analysis.
Experience supporting production and maintenance for medical devices.
Experience with extrusion/molding equipment is a major plus.
