Production Maintenance Technician

$29.70 per hour Shift:

2nd Shift | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do

Perform equipment setup, operation, testing, repair, and scheduled preventative maintenance on highly automated manufacturing equipment Diagnose, root cause, and repair electromechanical systems with minimal supervision Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults, machine stops, safety issues, and process inefficiencies Execute equipment and safety inspections and generate corrective, emergency, and preventative maintenance work orders Maintain product quality by ensuring equipment performance meets safety, quality, and efficiency standards Support operators with daily adjustments, setups, and changeovers Document all maintenance activity accurately within the maintenance database and communicate status updates regularly Independently manage preventative maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and corporate teams to resolve complex quality, process, or safety issues Assist with installation, startup, qualification, debugging, wiring, and electrical troubleshooting of new automation Create and maintain standard work procedures for equipment setup and maintenance Utilize and update databases to track corrective actions, materials used, and analyze trends for root cause identification Follow all safety rules, quality policies, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Participate in cross-functional teams and project work as an individual contributor What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of experience

performing repair and maintenance on manufacturing equipment (medical, HVAC, automotive, or similar environments) Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications Proficiency in English for reading documentation, written communication, and verbal instructions Working knowledge of basic math, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail and organization Preferred Experience

Experience with automated equipment, HMIs, and troubleshooting complex machinery Familiarity with precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges, and gauge blocks Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as laser welding, crimping, mechanical swaging, PCB handling, metal stamping, and high-speed discrete assembly Understanding of sensors used in automation, including photoelectric sensors, pressure switches, and load cells Experience with electrical troubleshooting, cam-driven linkages, and discrete component automation Physical Requirements

Stand for at least 75% of the shift; walk up to 50% of the shift Frequently reach above shoulder level and occasionally below waist level Push, pull, and work in tight spaces Lift up to 49 lbs occasionally and 5-25 lbs frequently Benefits & Perks
