Job Requirements And Duties
Responsible for everything that happens during your shift.
Maintain cost, inventory, cash control, and customer relations.
Set the example and enforce policy and procedures 100% of the time.
Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, schedule adherence, image and standards, customer service, attendance, transportation, store cleanliness, marketing, profitability.
Advancement Many team members begin as delivery drivers and can become franchise owners, general managers or corporate operations managers.

General Job Duties For All Store Team Members
Operate equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility daily.
Training Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills
Give correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over phone and in person.
Essential Functions/Skills
Perform basic arithmetic accurately.
Make correct monetary change.
Process orders verbally and write.
Use computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Navigate maps, locate addresses and drive safely.
Work Conditions – Exposure To
Various weather conditions when removing trash.
Temperature variations from 36° in cooler to 90°+ in some areas.
Fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust.
Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°.
Sharp edges, moving machinery.
Adverse weather during delivery and couponing.
Sensing
Talking and hearing on phone, near and mid‑range vision.
Depth perception.
Distinguish hot and cold surfaces.
Far vision and night vision for driving.
Temperaments Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, make judgments and decisions.
Physical Requirements Standing
– Most tasks performed from a standing position on ceramic or linoleum. Height of work surfaces between 36" and 48".
Walking
Short distances for short durations.
Delivery personnel must travel between store and vehicle and to customer location.
Sitting
– Paperwork typically done in an office setting.
Lifting
Bulk deliveries twice weekly unloaded by hand truck.
Deliveries of up to 50 lbs with dimensions up to 3' x 1.5'.
Stacking cases up to 72" high.
Carrying
Large cans, weighing 3 lbs 7 oz, carried to storage.
Pizza sauce (30 lbs) carried from storage to front.
Trays of dough carried three at a time (~12 lbs each).
Carry pizzas and beverages during delivery.
Pushing
Move trays on dollies; 24"–30" handle requires up to 7.5 lbs force.
Trays may also be pulled.
Climbing
Navigate stairs or ladders infrequently for maintenance.
Delivery may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.
Stooping/Bending
Forward bending at pizza assembly station (~30–45 sec per cycle).
Bow at front counter and stocking.
Crouching/Squatting
Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
Reaching
Continuously up, down, forward.
Above 72” for oven controls, change signs, lift/lower shelves.
Downward tasks like scooping cornmeal.
Forward tasks for topping ingredients, cleaning, phone answering.
Driving
Deliver pizzas within a designated area; may make several deliveries per shift.
Hand Tasks
Continuous eye‑hand coordination during the day.
Use forearms and wrists for shaping dough and handling pizza peel.
Manipulate pizza peel, cutter, cardboard boxes.
