ROUTE DRIVER (UTILITY) (FULL TIME)

Job Summary
Drives company‑owned truck over established routes to deliver and sell products or render services, collects money from machines, and makes change.
Responsibilities
Service a particular route or location during the absence of the regular route or warehouse employee.
Assist Customer Service Managers with daily opening and closing of the operation, and training of new route service personnel.
Drive truck to deliver items such as soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snack items and sundries to customer places of business.
Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines, collect stale, rejected or unsold merchandise and refills bill and coin changers.
Record transactions on appropriate card and/or electronic device; accountable for cash and product.
Call on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; inform regular customers of new products and/or services; listen to and resolve service complaints.
Select items from warehouse and load truck; prepare order forms for food and pastry products.
Perform routine maintenance on and sanitation of machines.
Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment; perform job safely.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
Previous experience in receiving and stocking food supplies.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
Schedule & Compensation Full‑time schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6:00 am–2:00 pm; Tuesday, Thursday 6:00 am–11:00 am. Pay range: $17.00–$18.00 per hour.
