Summary of Position The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the primary servicing, repair and upkeep of equipment at the shop and at the well site. The Maintenance Technician is charged with the upkeep of the Graco image through constant and regular maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and facilities. Will ensure that Graco is always held in the highest regard by becoming personally invested in the image and performance of all company assets.

Essential Functions

Must comply with all Graco company policies and procedures

Must be proficient on use of current technology utilized in repair and preventative maintenance

Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with internal and external customers

Assist Graco supervisors and support staff in trouble shooting maintenance issues and with repair of company assets

Knowledge and skill to diagnose and repair various types of oilfield equipment, including but not limited to well service pumps (i.e., Gardner-Denver, SPM,TEE; PAH & Serva); power swivels and commercial gas and diesel trucks.

Perform quality maintenance, diagnosis, disassemble, inspect, perform rebuild and reassemble of all components or equipment as required

Complete required paperwork or computer program updates in an accurate and timely manner, such as, work orders, delivery / return, damage tickets, etc.

Display ability to learn and apply new knowledge through the attendance of training programs

Communicate effectively with other employees and supervisor

Comply with policies of safe driving and vehicles use.

Keep shop, work area and yard clean with equipment well organized

Maintain and utilize work areas, tools and equipment to promote a clean and safe work environment

Support, move, unload equipment and vehicle safely as needed, using all safety equipment necessary

Work varying shifts and extended hours as business needs dictate

Report and/or correct unsafe work conditions

Other tasks or duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and three (3) or more years of maintenance service related experience

Formal training through certified trade school preferred Self-motivated and detail oriented, work with minimum supervision

Knowledge of air, fuel, electrical, hydraulic and powertrain systems

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to read and understand materials commonly used in service and maintenance

Stand/walk up to 12 hours per day, and or sit 1-2 hours per day

Use hands for repetitive simple grasping, pushing, pulling and find manipulation

Occasionally bend, squat and climb, including the ability to ascend & descend ladders

Use feet for repetitive movement when operating controls

Must have a safe driving record and be willing to submit to and able to pass, a pre-employment drug test, MVR check and criminal background check.
