Join Chromalloy as a Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift. The role performs electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks, installs and repairs electrical equipment, and participates in preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reads and understands blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Conducts tests to locate mechanical and electrical system malfunctions. Installs electrical components in accordance with electrical codes. Installs conduit and runs wires through conduit; runs conduit and pulls wiring. Builds and assembles control panels. Tests wiring connections with equipment such as volt/ohmmeters and oscilloscopes. Lubricates and cleans parts; observes mechanical devices in operation to locate trouble. Dismantles devices to gain access to defective parts; inspects parts for defects and changes in dimensional requirements. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments; repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices; uses machine tools for installation, maintenance or repair. Starts devices to test performance; operates lathe, drill press, grinder and other metalworking tools to make or repair parts. Initiates purchase orders for parts and machines; maintains repair records and a clean maintenance shop. Adheres to safety procedures and can work weekends and across any shift as needed. Qualifications

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in robotics and/or vacuum casting is preferred. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic, including reading and interpreting measures with various units; compute rate, ratio and percent; interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions; solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations. Physical Demands: Regularly required to use hands, reach with arms, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds (frequently up to 90 pounds). May require vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: Regularly exposed to extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles; may be exposed to wet/humid conditions, high places, risk of electrical shock, and loud noise.
