Move vehicle from staging area to shipping bay location. (To include but not limited to washing vehicles, and conducting PDI (Pre‑delivery inspection) to ensure quality standard are met. Benefits

(No exceptions) WORK HOURS: 7:00 am - 3:30 PM (with overtime possibilities) Position Description / Summary of Position

To move vehicles for processing and release to rail or haul‑away carrier, also move vehicles to shipping companies and consolidates (bunches) vehicles to make room for other vehicles. Associates drive vehicles from lots to shop to shipment areas. Will wash and fuel cars. May throw mats and other basic accessories for the Accessory shop. Responsible for various clean‑up tasks such as breaking down cardboard. Essential Functions, Duties, and Tasks

1. Able to wash cars. 2. Drive vehicles to and from specified locations. 3. Ensure vehicles are available for work in the other areas. 4. Ensure vehicles are parked in proper locations. 5. Ensure yard quality standards are maintained. 6. Follow all safety guidelines and attend safety meetings. 7. Gases and drives vehicles through car wash. 8. Identify vehicles and insert documentation as required. 9. Inform Leads or Managers of significant departmental issues. 10. Keep Leads, Managers, and others informed of significant issues. 11. Log processed work into computer program or tracking system as required. 12. Meet or exceed established production and quality standards. 13. Move vehicles from staging areas to shipping bay location. 14. Must be able to follow directions. 15. Must read and match VIN numbers quickly and accurately to ensure movement of proper vehicles. 16. Park new vehicles in assigned areas. 17. Performs job in a safe manner. 18. Read and understand VIN numbers, repair orders, purchase orders, purge sheets, and other documents to complete work. 19. Visually verifies that vehicle is damage free. 20. Work as part of a team. 21. Daily clean up. 22. May put throw in parts into vehicles. 23. Notify supervisor of any workplace hazards or unsafe conditions. 24. Participate in facility safety efforts by attending monthly safety meetings, report accidents and injuries on appropriate forms, and communicates the procedure to all appropriate customers/vendors and AWC personnel. 25. Understand policies, including but not limited to company safety policies. 26. Upkeep and maintenance of work area. 27. Other duties assigned by lead or manager. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

Ability to adhere to strict production and quality standards without variance. Ability to communicate diplomatically. Ability to function effectively under pressure. Ability to interact with others effectively; work as a team; good interpersonal skills. Ability to judge distances. Ability to keep confidential any work documents seen or conversations heard during performance of job duty. Ability to pass driver's safety test at 80% or better. Ability to read and match numbers quickly and accurately. Ability to read and understand location cards and work orders. Ability to read and understand SDS. Ability to write, read, and comprehend basic English. Able to drive both standard and automatic automobiles. Candidate must have a current valid driver's license & good driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months and no more than 3 in the last 3 years) Able to drive automatic automobile vehicles and past onsite drivers test Able to stand, walk, and work outdoors in all weather conditions; able to lift 35 to 40 pounds; have good visual and auditory ability.
