Job Title: Test Technician Job Description The Test Technician will be responsible for utilizing power measuring tools to test electronic equipment. This role involves working with various tools such as DVM’s, Calibrators, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Power Analyzers, Frequency Counters, Phase Meters, and Computer-Based Test Programs. The technician must be adept at reading electronic schematic diagrams and test procedures in a clean room environment, using engineering manuals. The primary focus will be on testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment down to the component level.

Responsibilities

Utilize power measuring tools for testing electronic equipment.

Read and interpret electronic schematic diagrams and test procedures.

Work with engineering manuals in a clean room environment.

Test and troubleshoot electronic equipment to component level.

Work with tools such as DVMs, Calibrators, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, and Power Analyzers.

Essential Skills

Experience in electronic troubleshooting.

Ability to read schematics.

Proficiency with tools such as DVM, Calibrators, and Oscilloscopes.

Skill in component-level troubleshooting, assembly, and repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

No engineering degree required, but a degree in Electronics may lead to better pay.

Knowledge of testing electronic equipment.

Experience with digital and analog circuitry.

Customer service skills and fluency in communication.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00–$28.00/hr.
