Overview
As a Sales Advisor, you will provide excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through the store to actively sell our products. You will use your fashion and product knowledge to give customers all the information they need for the best experience, and you will work on garment refill & care, presentation, and contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house. You will work closely with the rest of the store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Day in the Life
Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers through the store and OMNI experience where available, supporting them with direct service.
Engage in conversations with customers to provide excellent service.
Guide customers through our fashion trends, stories, and products in all areas of the store.
Effectively promote and sell our products to customers.
Promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in‑store sustainability initiatives.
Represent the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions.
Support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team.
Fashion & Trend Awareness
Keep up‑to‑date with the fashion scene, trends, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers.
Use your product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers.
Team & Development
Retain and share your service, fashion, and store operations knowledge and skills with colleagues.
Follow all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in the store.
Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn and develop.
Participate in onboarding, introduction processes, training, and courses relevant for your role and future development.
Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
Complete the full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and ensure good garment care.
Operate fitting rooms and checkout areas according to best practice and processes.
Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house, including stockrooms.
Support garment presentation, execution, and maintain attractive merchandise displays, clear trends, and stories according to visual and commercial guidelines.
Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor.
Follow best practice for any in‑store OMNI services and technology tools (In‑store Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.).
Support opening and closing of the store.
Follow all Health & Safety guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role.
Qualifications
