The opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a seasonal Supervisor to join our team at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia. The Delta Sky 360° Club at Truist Park is the ultimate blend of luxury, entertainment, and exclusivity located directly behind home plate. This all-inclusive venue radiates high energy, expert mixologists, and an ever-changing menu. As a Delta Sky 360° Club Supervisor of bars, you will work under the department manager’s direction to ensure effective club operations, including training and supervision of team members. You may, from time to time, be working at events associated with various departments outside of our regularly scheduled events.

This is a seasonal position that works during the baseball season. The season starts in March and goes until October, pending possible playoff schedule.
Pay $20.00 – $23.00 / hour

What will you do?
Monitor and maintain bar set-up and closing procedures on event days
Assist in creating drink specials, recipes and analyzing product sales
Observe, evaluate, and document job performances of associates
Recommend personnel for actions such as promotions, transfers, disciplinary action, and hiring
Conduct daily line up, assist with in-house department specific trainings
Order and maintain product inventory using Yellow Dog software
Assist with end-of-month inventory and financial reporting
Complete schedules and weekly assignments for bartenders and bar porters
Coordinate alcohol compliance and quality standards, handle guest relations, and monitor adherence to quality assurance standards
More about you
Previous experience directing and managing a team of bartenders and porters required
Three or more years of experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment preferred
Extensive knowledge of bartending techniques, draft beer systems, recipe creation, spirits, beers, and wines
Legal knowledge of running a bar: liquor laws, health and safety codes, compliance
Desire to learn, train and establish standards for ingredients, products and procedures
Physical requirements
Frequent walking throughout the entire facility, for the entire length of the shift
Constant standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
Able to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds, including kegs, cases, and other product
Exposure to moderate to high environmental noise levels during busy times
