Position Summary Reuben’s Brews is looking for a part‑time Line Cook for our Ballard taproom, three days per week, approximately 3‑10:30 pm. We are looking for a passionate foodie that enjoys sharing their love of cooking with others. The successful candidate will be a very responsible team player who always works towards creating a wonderful guest experience. At Reuben’s Brews, line cooks are responsible for cooking and prep, and the successful candidate will be equally adept at both.

About Us Reuben’s Brews is a family brewery that opened in 2012. One of the largest breweries in Washington, we brew from the glass backwards: designing each beer with intention, unbound by constraints. We know making the extra effort is worth it. We are the most decorated brewery in Washington, have two brewhouses, two tasting rooms, and two private event spaces, and we distribute our beer predominantly in the Pacific Northwest.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

Passion for and experience working in a kitchen

Solid kitchen skills from knife work forward

Proven ability to follow and develop recipes

Fastidious care for maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Physical demands: frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; often lift or move full ½ BBL kegs and/or boxes up to 50 pounds or more.

In addition to these minimum requirements, we expect the successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
