We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and equipment, and ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with manufacturer and company standards.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical repairs on company vehicles within established timeframes, following shop procedures and manufacturer guidelines
Conduct preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment
Diagnose and repair diesel engines
Perform maintenance and repairs on pumps and hydraulic systems (skid‑mounted and truck‑mounted)
Complete small engine repairs
Perform heavy‑duty truck repairs
Repair and maintain equipment such as spray rigs, tampers, backpack blowers, and other related tools used throughout the company
Control maintenance costs by utilizing warranties and evaluating service and parts options
Order parts and manage inventory levels
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the shop
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
Collect delivery invoices and submit documentation to the accounting department
Perform other duties of similar complexity as assigned by management
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive, truck, or equipment mechanic
At least 2 years of formal automotive training preferred
Automotive ASE certification required
Strong adaptive problem‑solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to pass a post‑offer drug screening
Ability to pass a post‑offer background check
