Position Title: Welder Location: Auburn Hills Shifts Needed: Day or Night Days: Monday-Friday 6a-4:45p + Saturday 6a-12p Nights: Monday-Friday 4p-2:45a + Saturday 12p-6p Character of Position As a Welder, you will be responsible for managing the machines that manufacture and repair metal structures, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

MIG and TIG weld small and large components

Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors

Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, safety glasses, protective masks, and safety shoes

Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature

Weld components in diverse positions (i.e., flat, vertical, and overhead positions)

Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance

Other duties as assigned

Skills

Ability to read blueprints in detail

Ability to identify and find specifications

Knowledge of geometric tolerances (understand and recognize all symbols)

Thorough understanding of general tolerances

Comprehend sections and views

Understand reference system

Ability to locate and read stock list on drawing

Ability to operate presses

Use of hand tools (drill motors, grinders, etc.)

Ability to saw, miter, and fit fabrications (fit and tack)

Experience

TIG and MIG welding

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Requirements Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
