Key Responsibilities
Prepare and configure manufacturing equipment for production runs.
Install, adjust, and align tools, dies, and fixtures according to specifications.
Perform first‑piece inspections and make fine‑tuning adjustments to ensure quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or technical issues during setup.
Calibrate and test equipment to meet precise operational parameters.
Document setup procedures, parameters, and any modifications made.
Collaborate with production operators and engineers to optimize setup efficiency.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience in machine setup, adjustment, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills for diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.
Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and quality control standards.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with PLC programming or troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
Forklift certification or experience operating other material handling equipment.
