Flexo Printing Mechanic

Responsibilities
Make real-time press adjustments to achieve optimal print quality while meeting specifications and production targets.
Perform machine setups and changeovers efficiently and accurately.
Install and change printing plates, blankets, and rolls.
Clean, adjust, and maintain ink fountains to ensure consistent color and quality.
Load roll stock and properly thread material through the press.
Inspect finished and in-process products to identify defects or production issues.
Safely handle roll stock and related materials.
Operate industrial trucks and material-handling equipment as required.
Accurately record production data in required logs or production systems and label finished products appropriately.
Conduct specified quality checks and proofread web stock for accuracy and compliance.
Complete special projects and assignments as directed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and equipment.
Set up, operate, and monitor flexographic printing presses.
Continuously monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments during production runs.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Prepare materials, inks, and supplies prior to and during production.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Prior experience in flexographic printing preferred.
Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent proven experience.
Working knowledge of production machinery, assembly line processes, and equipment operation.
Ability to read, interpret, and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and job specifications.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong hands-on technical skills.
