Position Overview We are seeking a
highly experienced Industrial HVAC Service Technician
with
at least 10 years of commercial service experience . This role is ideal for a skilled professional who enjoys working on a variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, with a focus on service and repair. The right candidate will be a
chiller expert
with a proven ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently while maintaining a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
Responsibilities
Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial/industrial HVAC equipment, including:
Chillers (air‑cooled & water‑cooled)
Cooling towers
Pumps
Rooftop package units
Commercial split systems
Refrigeration equipment
Provide mentorship and share technical knowledge with junior technicians.
Maintain accurate service records and complete required documentation.
Communicate effectively with customers and the IC Mechanical team.
Occasionally perform small retrofit replacements (rare).
Primarily work within the Tampa Bay area, with occasional short‑term travel (volunteer basis, all expenses paid).
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
Strong knowledge of chiller service, cooling towers, pumps, rooftop units, commercial split systems, and refrigeration systems.
EPA Universal Certification required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
