Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Mill Setup Person and Operator located in Fort Wayne, IN. The role involves setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. Responsibilities include reviewing blueprints, programming and calibrating CNC machinery, monitoring production processes for quality control, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance. The CNC Mill Setup Person and Operator will work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and uphold safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
Proficiency in CNC mill setup, operation, and programming
Ability to interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
Quality control experience, including the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and machine maintenance
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the production team
Experience with CNC software and familiarity with machining industry standards
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in machining or relevant field is a plus
