Yellowhouse Machinery is currently accepting applications for John Deere Service Technicians at our Amarillo, Texas location. Our applicants must exhibit a strong work ethic and be able to provide supporting references. John Deere experience is preferred; related experience is required. We service and repair John Deere Wheel Loaders, Backhoes, Motor Graders, Excavators, Crawler Dozers, Articulated Dump Trucks, and many other types of equipment used throughout the construction and agricultural industry. Reports To: Service Manager
Responsibilities
Accurately diagnose and repair John Deere Construction and Forestry equipment as well as other various brands of equipment supported by Yellowhouse Machinery.
Rebuild or replace powertrain and hydraulic components including engines, transmissions, axles, control valves, hydraulic pumps, etc.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while on duty.
Align with safety compliance per company policy.
Maintain a clean work environment and properly care for shop equipment and specialty tools provided.
Participate in a positive relationship-building work environment alongside coworkers in Service, Sales, and Parts departments.

Requirements / Qualifications
Basic computer skills to efficiently utilize service and parts support programs.
Ability to maintain and create accurate and comprehensive service reports on tasks performed during service or repair.
General knowledge of troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics and power train components.
Ability to work efficiently in a shop team environment.
Willingness to participate in company-paid training as required.
Must possess personal hand and pneumatic tools to perform diagnostic, service and repair work on heavy equipment.
Capable of following instructions from the Service Manager or Shop Foreman to efficiently service or repair machines.
Applicant must pass a physical drug screening and possess a driver’s license.
