Shift Times: (Monday - Thursday, OT on Fridays!)
First: 5:30am - 3:30pm
Second: 3:30pm - 1:30am
Third: 8:00pm - 6:00am
Must Haves:
High school Diploma or equivalent
1+ year of welding experience
Experience with various welding processes (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW)
Day-to-Day:
We are looking for a self‑motivated, quality‑minded, highly skilled Welder to join our production team in our facilities in Manhattan and Topeka, KS. In this position, welders work on in‑house projects. Welders are expected to safely complete each job within specific deadlines to ensure we meet our customers’ needs.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and follow proper welding procedures and welding symbols on drawings.
Use calibrated measuring tools (measuring tapes, squares, etc.) to properly fit up assemblies.
Utilize industry tools and equipment—hand, pneumatic, electric, and battery powered tools; plasma cutters, oxyacetylene torches, and carbon arc.
Weld parts in various positions, processes (GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW), and materials (Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel).
Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Assist in other areas of production as needed or as assigned.
Compensation:
$22/hr-28/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
