Level 1 – support the facility by performing routine and property maintenance tasks in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, general cleaning, office moves, and conference room arrangements. Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Receive work assignments verbally or in writing, including drawings and schematics. Set up and operate machine shop equipment and use precision measuring instruments. Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment such as burn machines, hydraulic shears, press brakes, metal‑working machinery, coil winders, ovens, cranes, welders, and other equipment. Fabricate weldments and perform machinery rigging, loading, unloading, and moving. Work overhead and at heights up to 70 ft to repair cranes and other equipment. Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean and orderly; handle oils, chemicals, and hazardous waste safely. Use e‑mail, internet searches, and data entry for administrative tasks. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficiency with machine shop tools and maintenance equipment. Knowledge of materials (oils, solvents, paints, thinners, fasteners, sheet metal). Ability to work at heights, in wet or dirty conditions, and in extreme heat or cold. Physical capability for medium to heavy work, including lifting by hand and use of mechanical aids. Education & Experience
Technical Diploma or High School Diploma with 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience; or 5+ years of experience with some formal technical education. Key Working Relationships
Plant supervision, quality, planning, engineering organization, including mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineering groups. Physical Demands
Stand for extended periods; occasionally sit, walk, climb, balance, push, pull, carry, and work below waist level. Working Conditions
