Responsibilities
Safely operate drill equipment on jobsite, including directional drills, backhoes/excavators, skid steers, tractor trailers, vacuum truck/trailers.
Restore and/or landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite.
Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
Responsible for site set‑up and clean‑up.
Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment on truck.
Conduct new site job‑safety analysis prior to construction.
Set up safety perimeter with signage, cones, safety barriers, and flag traffic as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
At least 18 years old to operate company equipment or drive company vehicles.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Pass background check and company drug screening.
Attend and pass all required company training.
Availability for overtime, after‑hours, weekends, emergencies, on‑call duties, nights, holidays, and travel as required.
Regular and timely attendance is essential.
Additional Qualifications
Experience running heavy equipment preferred.
Experience with drill set‑up and design processes preferred.
Work in all weather conditions.
Lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed.
Proficient with locators to safely identify utilities.
Read and understand work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions.
Climb up and down ladders, machinery, and other objects.
Previous construction or utility construction experience helpful.
Must meet vision requirements for job; exposure to dust, fumes, airborne pathogens, toxic chemicals, moving machinery, moderate noise level.
Physical & Safety Requirements
Stand, crouch, sit, bend, use hands/fingers, reach with arms to spaces high and low; may stand, walk, climb, balance, crawl, crouch, lift, hold, stoop during shift.
Exposure to moderate noise level.
Regular exposure to outside weather: extreme heat/cold, rain, snow, sleet, dust, adverse driving conditions.
