Certified RV Technician

As an RV Technician at Bretz RV & Marine, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining RVs. Whether you’re experienced or looking to start a new career, we are open to training the right individual who is motivated to learn and develop their skills in the RV industry.
Responsibilities
Perform inspections and assist in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues on RVs
Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks, including HVAC systems, appliances, slide‑outs, and awnings (with training if needed)
Install and upgrade RV components such as solar panels, satellite systems, and entertainment systems
Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and industry standards
Communicate effectively with service advisors to explain repairs and provide maintenance recommendations
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Certification from RVTI or similar accreditation is a plus, but not required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Training & Growth Opportunities
Hands‑on training for individuals without RV repair experience

Physical Requirements
Stand, walk or crouch for extended periods of time
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Bend, stoop, kneel frequently
Climb ladders
Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Saturdays on rotation
Compensation Our best make over $100,000 annually.
Hourly rate: $25–$39 per hour (based heavily on prior experience and current RVTI certification level).
