Quality Technician - Whitehall Area

Salary Range:
$41,000 - $64,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Whitehall seeking Quality Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections of products and materials to ensure adherence to specifications. Conduct various tests (e.g., dimensional, functional, visual) using precision measuring equipment. Document inspection and test results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records. Identify, quarantine, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective actions. Calibrate and maintain inspection, measurement, and test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventative actions for quality issues. Support the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry quality standards. Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes. Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data collection methods. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Qualifications ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or other relevant professional certification. Experience with CMM programming or advanced metrology equipment operation. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP). Internal auditing experience against ISO 9001 or industry-specific standards.
