We are collaborating with multiple companies in Manistee seeking experienced Quality Technicians. Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in‑process production, and finished goods against specifications. Document non‑conformances, generate inspection reports, and maintain accurate quality records. Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product dimensions and features. Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and support corrective action implementation. Conduct internal audits and participate in supplier quality assessments to ensure compliance with standards. Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment and measurement tools according to established schedules. Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and support continuous improvement initiatives. Recommended Qualifications
Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience in manufacturing quality. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T. Demonstrated experience using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM). Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and basic data analysis techniques. Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) principles (e.g., ISO 9001). Strong computer literacy, including MS Office Suite and data entry into QMS software. Bonus Qualifications
ASQ Certification (e.g., CQT, CQIA) Experience with CMM programming or advanced metrology equipment (e.g., vision systems) Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification Job Titles That Should Apply
