Streetlighting Bucket Operator
Performs work from aerial devices and ladders to install and maintain streetlights and related equipment. Working hours are typically a 10-hour day.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Operates various tools for the work (manual digging devices, wrenches, hammers, come‑along, handling, etc.).
Clears work area and maintains safe jobsite conditions and assists with work and material assembling from the ground.
Excavates to assist in the installation of structures or cables as required by contract specification.
Will have contact with public and private property owners to communicate the work to be performed.
Exposed to traffic and may be required to have training on traffic flagging.
All other duties as required or requested by Supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Able to:
meet and maintain weight restrictions for bucket trucks as identified by the truck manufacturer.
work long hours and overtime, emergencies, weekends, etc. Subject to call out work.
work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
work efficiently and effectively while working at heights.
safely enter and exit the aerial device and rear‑end of the bucket and derrick trucks.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Pre-Screen
Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre‑employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
License & Certifications
Valid Driver's License required.
CDL preferred
Ability to pass DOT physical & obtain DOT medical card required.
Travel Requirements
Must be willing to travel out of town/state for regular/emergency storm work.
