Job Summary The Business Manager (Administrative Staff Officer II) serves as a team leader within the Centralized Business Office (CBO), providing financial management, business operation’s oversight, and staff supervision for Housing, Dining, and Bookstore Operations departments. This position ensures compliance with University financial, procurement, and inventory policies; manages reconciliation, billing, and purchasing workflows; and supports operational efficiency through process improvement and technology integration. The Business Manager collaborates closely with the CBO Accountant Principal, who is responsible for technical accounting functions and GASB compliance related to P3 contracts and external reporting. The position functions in a cross‑functional capacity across multiple Auxiliary departments and CBO teams, providing backup support, shared expertise and continuity of operations to ensure consistent service delivery and policy compliance. The role also fosters staff development, promotes customer service excellence, and contributes to special projects and professional growth initiatives that advance the mission of Auxiliary and Transportation Services.
