Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments. Process payroll, including calculation of wages, deductions, and tax remittances. Reconcile bank and credit card statements to the general ledger. Prepare and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Generate financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Assist with inventory costing and valuation specific to manufacturing operations. Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems common in manufacturing. Experience with inventory management, job costing, and fixed asset accounting. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial record‑keeping. Bonus Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Familiarity with cost accounting principles (e.g., inventory valuation, COGS, WIP).
