Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
Manage payroll processing, including deductions, benefits, and tax filings.
Perform comprehensive bank and credit card reconciliations.
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate classification of all financial transactions.
Assist with inventory valuation and the tracking of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
Support the calculation and analysis of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and manufacturing overhead.
Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month-end closing procedures.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience managing general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing environments.
Solid understanding of inventory valuation, cost accounting, and job costing principles.
Experience reconciling bank statements, general ledger accounts, and preparing financial reports.
Familiarity with manufacturing specific transactions and expense categorization.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with inventory and cost accounting principles
Familiarity with ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Understanding of manufacturing-specific financial metrics and KPIs
Experience with job costing or project accounting
