Service Technician - Markraft role at ADG | Artisan Design Group
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of cabinets in residential and commercial settings. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their cabinets are installed correctly and functioning properly. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Install cabinets in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Repair and refinish cabinets as needed, including fixing scratches, dents, and other damages.
Perform routine maintenance on cabinets to ensure they are functioning properly.
Collaborate with clients to address any concerns or issues with their cabinets.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate project timelines and expectations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on job sites.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Additional Responsibilities
Punching and repairing work on previous installations.
Reading pull sheets to ensure complete job packages.
Walking jobs upon completion and documenting any issues via photos and notes.
Delivering products from warehouse to job sites.
Measuring jobs for cabinet installation.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge of basic hand tools.
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Physical Demands
Ability to sit at a computer monitor for long periods.
Must be able to stand for long periods, reach with hands and arms, move about the workplace, handle mail and documents, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and move up to 50 pounds, and see well enough to discern differences in quality of documents and files.
Work Environment
General working conditions.
Jobsite and warehouse environments.
Conditions may be hot or cold depending on weather.
May have to meet tight deadlines.
