Key Responsibilities
Coordinate patient appointments, working with Center manager to minimize cancellations and support treatment adherence.
Register patient information, ensuring all forms are complete with signatures and accurate information documented in the electronic medical record.
Verify patient insurance, obtaining required authorizations before patient visit, and explain benefits, financial responsibilities, billing, and outpatient policies.
Collect patient responsibility at each visit.
Scan and maintain medical documents.
Reconcile and post charges daily and produce other reporting to ensure clean claim processing.
Respond to all requests for information from patients, other departments, and physicians.
Maintain office, order supplies, and manage mail.
Willingness to adjust schedule to center needs.
Travel to attend mandatory meetings and in-service education programs.
Travel to non-home location center or other site for coverage when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
HS diploma or GED required.
Preferred Experience
Customer service experience.
Knowledge of insurance verification.
Experience in healthcare, medical, or dental office administration.
