Our client, a leader in the technology and communications industry, is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to join their team. As an Audio Visual Technician, you will be part of the Technical Support Department supporting the Video Conferencing and AV Services team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

Provide Level 1 technical support to customer end users for video conferencing and AV systems.

Support customer end users with user training for self-scheduling conferences and support scheduling and launching video calls.

Open incident tickets for incidents and maintain customer incident management and CMDB systems.

Provide onsite support for video MACD requests, including installing and removing video equipment as needed.

Report and update on issues with Poly video conferencing products and support resolution of non-Poly related issues.

What's Needed?

Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.

At least 2 years of experience supporting Audio-Visual and/or IT systems, including familiarity with Poly products and third-party video conferencing devices.

Knowledge of H.320, H.323, and SIP protocols, with experience troubleshooting these protocols.

Experience with installing and troubleshooting video conferencing devices such as Poly, Cisco, Logitech, or DTEN.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
