Position Title: Receiver
Location: Cascade Home Center - Dallas, OR 97338
Description Cascade Home Center in Dallas is seeking to hire a diligent Receiver to join our team. As a Receiver, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of incoming shipments, managing inventory levels, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
Receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders
Inspect all incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies, and report any issues to the appropriate parties
Maintain accurate inventory levels by performing regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and store materials
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the receiving area
Assist with other warehouse-related tasks as needed
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process large volumes of data
Ability to operate material handling equipment and lift heavy objects
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
