Meteor Group
Overview
The primary function is to produce the products within specification while operating and maintaining the specified equipment. This includes ensuring proper materials are used, adjusting set screw and profile temperatures, water flow to extruders and temperature controllers, hot air oven temperatures, microwave profile, and puller/drive speeds aligned to the design profile. It also involves setting up and operating various equipment such as brushing machines, cooling troughs, traceability printers, Pixargus, in-line coating applications, and related packaging preparation. The role requires ability to mix components (paint), maintain spray systems and quality standards with minimal scrap, change gun components as required, maintain spray fluid levels, clean the system, and replace hoses. Responsibilities also include maintaining, cleaning, assembling and disassembling dies, running the extrusion line with minimal scrap, performing startup and die changes, and assisting with screw changes and supporting the Extrusion Assistant and Extrusion Rubber Feeder. Additionally, weld, set up plasma units, mix and apply flock glue, and operate flocking machinery including setup, operation, filling and cleaning. Inspect and pack flocked profiles and perform online flock testing.
Responsibilities
Operate extrusion line to run with minimal scrap; manage startup and die changes to ensure smooth, timely production.
Set up and operate associated equipment (brushing machine, cooling trough, printers, coating systems) and ensure correct packaging preparation.
Mix components (paint) and maintain spray systems; ensure quality standards with minimal scrap; replace throttles/gun components and hoses as needed; clean systems.
Maintain, clean, assemble, and disassemble dies properly.
Maintain proper water flow, temperatures, and material usage; ensure proper alignment of process parameters to design profile.
Assist with screw changes and support Extrusion Assistant and Extrusion Rubber Feeder as required.
PE weld, set up plasma unit, apply flock glue, and operate flocking equipment; perform setup, operation, filling and cleaning.
Inspect and pack flocked profiles; perform on-line flock testing.
