Pouching Operator – 3rd Shift

Key Responsibilities
Set up jobs in accordance with plans and operate equipment to defined specifications for finished products.
Perform quality inspections throughout jobs to ensure conformity to specifications.
Adjust machines proactively to keep products within specified tolerances.
Oversee packer activity in coordination with QA technician interactions.
Document production activity and material traceability/usage calculations to determine finished quantities and line efficiencies.
Provide backup support to other positions on the production line.
Perform necessary preventative maintenance.
Make suggestions for process improvements.
Operate machines at desired speeds to ensure production efficiency.
Identify and document failures and help diagnose root causes of production issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong mechanical aptitude with problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills; ability to operate common hand and power tools.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to read metric and standard rulers; able to read blueprints.
Effective communication skills.
High school math skills.
Multitasking and good organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands for handling tools and equipment.
Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required, including close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
