Responsibilities
Provide enthusiastic and friendly customer service to each guest.
Generate sales, perform housekeeping, and operate the cash register (POS).
Handle cash accurately.
Maintain a safe and clean environment.
Work a variety of hours, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications
Read and write Spanish/English and interact with the general public and coworkers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees.
Apply common‑sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift up to 25 pounds; frequently lift up to 45 pounds; occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.
Possess a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification (required).
Preferred
Basic PC/Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
