Job Description
H&W Electrical Corporation is seeking an energetic, experienced individual to join our company as a Warehouse Driver. As part of our warehouse and delivery teams, you will use hand trucks and occasionally forklifts to load and unload delivery vehicles, and drive vehicles to delivery locations. You will accurately keep records of all inventory, both received and delivered, and observe safe workplace rules and guidelines when unloading and transporting cargo. This is a physically demanding position, meaning our ideal candidate is able to lift and move heavy containers, in addition to possessing a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), forklift operator's certification, and experience with warehouse inventory management.
Responsibilities
Deliver material to H&W Electrical Jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
Receive material from H&W Electrical Jobsites and store them correctly.
Answer requests for material in a timely manner.
Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle.
Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials.
Provide excellent support for our field staff.
Operate all equipment in a safe manner.
Perform other warehouse responsibilities as directed by warehouse manager.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of shipping, receiving and delivering material.
Clean driving record.
Class A license preferred, but not required.
Ability to stand, stoop, lift, climb stairs as required in a 10-hour day.
Ability to follow directions and instructions.
Safety minded.
Proven record of reliability.
