Job Summary The Electric Power Division has an exciting opportunity for a

Shipping & Receiving Clerk III . The Shipping & Receiving Clerk III oversees the shipping process and provides training and support for the shipping department through verifying quantity, quality and labeling of products and merchandise ready for shipment. This person will also serve as a point of contact and expert for international shipping.

What You Will Do

Coordinate domestic and international shipping requirements

Order filling, processing, storing/picking of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies

Operating automated packaging equipment, shipping, and receiving

Multiple systems interaction

Validate accuracy of receipts to supplier packing lists

Identify expedited parts

Prioritize receipts based on receiving schedules

Interact with carriers

Schedule outbound loads

Coordinate with logistics and external carriers to set up expedited shipments

Ensure accurate counts are recorded prior to any movements into or out of the finished goods inventory

Records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet

Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers

Operates sit‑down forklifts to assist in loading or moving materials and products

Develops a culture that works to achieve and maintain an accident‑free workplace

Develops a culture that works to achieve and maintain ongoing housekeeping excellence

What You Will Have

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse and/or order filling experience

Must be certified forklift

Knowledge of parts systems, procedures, and operations

Ability to work with minimal supervisor

Intermediate Microsoft Office experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Intermediate mechanical aptitude

Strong computer skills and familiarity with essential software and tools

Ability to maintain complete and accurate records

Physical Requirements

The ability to occasionally lift parts up to 35 lbs. individually or up to 70 lbs. with a team lift

The ability to bend, reach, and squat while performing tasks

The ability to wear required personal protective equipment for assigned tasks

The ability to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures

The ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods while performing tasks

What Will Put You Ahead

5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment

Experience working with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or a similar tool

Additional Requirements

1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Summary Pay Range $20.05 - $26.05
