Campaign Officer
Freeman Hospital, part of Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a fixed‑term Campaign Officer to support the Sir Bobby Robson Institute fundraising campaign.
Job Overview As a Campaign Officer you will coordinate campaign events, support donor stewardship, manage enquiries, maintain campaign records and collaborate with fundraising and communications teams.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate campaign events and activities
Support donor stewardship and community engagement
Manage enquiries and maintain accurate campaign records
Work closely with fundraising and communications colleagues
Deliver high quality administrative support to the fundraising team
Monitor and evaluate campaign tactics and approaches, analysing and interpreting data
Prepare reports for the Charity Committee and working groups
Qualifications & Experience
Degree level or equivalent relevant work experience/qualifications
Experience working across income streams – individual, community and corporate giving programmes
Well‑developed financial literacy and experience of financial administration tasks
Experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences
Experience delivering engagement and involvement projects
IT literacy across Microsoft suite and CRM database packages
Knowledge of NHS and charitable sector regulations
Desirable
Specialist qualification or CPD in fundraising
Experience with CRM systems and social media communication
Experience in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector
