Title: Founding Product Designer
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid 4 days onsite in Midtown)

Our client, fresh off a successful Series A raise, is building an AI-powered workflow automation platform that’s redefining how financial services teams operate. By automating complex, time‑consuming workflows for leading investment banks and private equity firms, they enable teams to focus on strategy rather than manual execution. Combining deep financial expertise with advanced AI, their platform delivers insights and outputs that rival—and often surpass—traditional analyst work, positioning them as a category leader in enterprise AI.
Requirements 3+ years of UI/UX design experience for complex digital products Proven ability to work autonomously and lead design direction in a startup environment Strong skills in Figma and other industry‑standard design tools Experience creating and scaling design systems from scratch Skilled in user research, prototyping, and usability testing Strong portfolio showcasing impactful, user‑centered design work Comfortable collaborating directly with engineers and stakeholders
Responsibilities Own end-to-end product design for the AI platform Be the company’s voice of design, shaping both product and brand experiences Create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity UI for complex workflows Translate AI capabilities into intuitive, elegant interfaces Develop and maintain a consistent design system from the ground up Conduct research and testing to inform design decisions Produce occasional marketing assets for product launches and campaigns
Compensation, Benefits & Culture $100,000–$130,000 salary, based on experience, plus comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage and unlimited PTO. Hybrid work from Manhattan—most days in‑office, remote Fridays. You’ll join a high‑energy, collaborative team of experienced operators from top firms and high‑growth startups, shaping a category‑defining AI product from the ground up.
