Manager Support Warehouse Automation Team Lead – 1st Shift We are hiring a Warehouse Automation Team Lead for the 1st shift in Hagerstown, Maryland at Ryder Supply Chain Solutions.

Location:

Hagerstown, Maryland

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Hourly Pay:

$23.69 per hour

Pay Frequency:

Weekly

Responsibilities:

Lead continuous improvement efforts for optimal operational efficiency.

Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Allocate resources and distribute daily work duties to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.

Inspire and guide team members toward improved key performance indicators using appropriate leadership styles.

Assist in orientation for employees, providing necessary information, technology, and tools.

Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse.

Manage paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).

Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operational effectiveness and service levels.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Minimum one (1) year of powered industrial truck experience preferred.

Minimum one (1) year of prior experience as a Team Lead preferred.

Minimum one (1) year of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) experience preferred.

Minimum one (1) year of prior warehouse experience preferred.

Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required.

Valid forklift operator’s license required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Effective leadership skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent organizational skills.

Proactive and maintains composure under pressure.

Familiarity with health and safety methods.

Bilingual (for Québec locations only) – if applicable.
