*This is an internal-only job posting announcement for current staff members* The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library is pleased to announce an internal job opportunity for a full-time Digital Services Specialist in the Digital Services Department at the Warren Library. This position provides specialized support and assistance in the Digital Services Department, including the Makerspace and Public Computer Lab (PCL), and plays an important role in technology instruction, programming, and patron support. Essential Duties

Assist patrons of all ages in the Makerspace with equipment and software, including 3D printers, Cricut, AV equipment, button makers, and sewing machines In cooperation with the Digital Services Manager, develop and host Makerspace programs and activities for patrons of all ages, including preparation of training materials Present technology programming (e.g., computer classes) at the Warren Library and other library locations Work with the IT Department to maintain Makerspace equipment and software Provide basic instruction on and monitor use of adult public computers Troubleshoot devices and provide basic technical support to patrons Assist patrons with customer-owned devices (laptops, tablets, smartphones) Support department operations, including opening/closing the Makerspace and PCL, releasing print jobs, handling payments, and balancing the cash register Apply library policies consistently in public service situations Maintain familiarity with library software, databases, and digital resources Maintain confidentiality of all customer transactions and records Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; technology-related specialization highly desirable Experience in a technology-based setting preferred (library or makerspace experience strongly desired) Experience teaching groups desirable Knowledge of Makerspace equipment and related software Advanced computer skills; proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Experience with Adobe or other graphic design/video editing software desirable Valid driver’s license required This position is open to current library employees only.
