Branch Supervisor

POSITION PURPOSE Responsible for providing internal and external clients with quality service. Act as a leadership team member in developing the branch staff’s capacity for meeting sales and service objectives, standards, and goals. Provide members with Credit Union products and services. Ensure staff deliver continuous quality service and comply with Credit Union policies and procedures. Directly supervise branch employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, directing, appraising, rewarding and disciplining staff, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Develop and maintain positive member and staff relationships.

Ensure staff provide consultative member service.

Conduct member profiling to determine needs; discuss benefits and features; open accounts; accept loan applications; conduct closings.

Act as a bridge between members and departments to promote relationships.

Resolve errors and member complaints.

Initiate sales-and-service activities and support achievement of branch goals.

Assist in development and implementation of sales-and-service programs and campaigns.

Develop and maintain a proactive book of business to create ongoing sales opportunities.

Track and assess results of subordinates.

Perform operational duties: balancing, file maintenance, regulatory reports, staff meetings, branch audits, cash management, and service coverage as needed.

Participate in training and development; review progress; maintain personal skills; participate in community activities.

Perform administrative duties: attendance, timecards, memos, and reporting.

Act in a supervisory capacity: establish schedules, conduct performance reviews, coach and recognize staff, and implement emergency procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience Required:

Assistant Branch Manager

POSITION PURPOSE The Assistant Branch Manager, under the leadership of the Branch Manager, provides quality service to internal and external clients. Manages the team to meet administrative, operational, and sales-and-service objectives. Supervises branch employees and ensures compliance with policies and procedures. Responsible for direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, appraising, coaching, and addressing disciplinary issues. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Initiate sales-and-service activities; participate in setting and communicating branch goals; refer members to other areas as needed.

Assist in developing and carrying out branch sales-and-service programs; convert strategies into daily actions.

Monitor member contact to generate opportunities and deepen relationships.

Track and assess results of campaigns; ensure consultative sales and service.

Conduct member interviews; present products and services; open accounts and loans as needed; promote relationships; resolve issues.

Establish performance and daily sales action plans; maintain positive relationships.

Ensure branch operations are compliant; balance functions; maintain files; complete regulatory reports; conduct audits; security procedures; manage cash.

Participate in training and development; support training programs; review progress; cross-train staff; community involvement.

Perform administrative duties and assist with supervision: schedules, performance reviews, coaching, and recognition; emergency procedures as needed.

Complete other duties as assigned.
