Work Hours Tuesday–Saturday, 5:00 am–1:30 pm

Job Overview The Operations Team Member reports to the Operations Care Center Manager. Responsible for operating the retort, creating, packaging, and engraving paw prints, plaques and memorial items, and processing and packaging cremated remains. Works with a close-knit team within a care center.

Duties & Responsibilities

Operate the retort and manage the processing of cremated remains.

Create, package, and engrave paw prints, plaques and other memorial items.

Maintain daily cremation goals with an emphasis on compassion and excellence.

Monitor equipment to ensure proper function, making adjustments and submitting maintenance requests.

Perform basic cleaning and housekeeping—sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting.

Clean and maintain equipment used in cremation procedures, such as bone grinders.

Follow safety procedures to protect self and others from hazardous materials or dust.

Other duties as assigned.

Education, Training & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 12 months experience in a service industry.

Valid driver’s license may be required.

Working Conditions

Regular bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, sitting, repetitive motion.

Regular lifting and moving of 100 + lbs.

Regular exposure to elevated noise and heat levels.

Handling deceased pets.
