Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator Master's Level Education Job Summary The Intake Assessor handles the Assessment and Referral activities at the facility. This position interfaces closely with the medical staff, fellow department members and administration, treatment team/external case managers/managed care organizations. The Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Health offers inpatient and outpatient behavioral health and substance abuse treatment services for adults, adolescents, and children located in Willoughby, Ohio.

Education:

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, mental health or a related field, or licensed RN. Experience:

A minimum of two (2) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting is desirable. Knowledge of the Mental Health field and experience in clinical interviewing, patient assessment, family treatment, treatment planning, communicating with external review organizations or comparable entities, and working effectively with people of diverse backgrounds. Work Environment:

Clean, well-lit environment. Intake coordinators can sit or stand for long periods. High-stress active work environments with office noises. Additional Requirements:

Trained in non-violent physical crisis intervention and CPR prior to accepting independent assignment or being released from orientation. Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication, diplomacy and discretion, ability to prioritize responsibilities, professional demeanor and appearance. Benefits:
