Job Title: Academic Program Manager (Didactic Program Coordinator)
Under the direction of the Program Manager for Pre‑Doctoral Programs, this role coordinates the development and delivery of departmental educational programs, including ongoing program assessment and improvement. The position supports classes, workshops, events, seminars, and other services, and may assist with program promotion, budgeting, administration, and reporting. It is a hybrid (telecommuting and in‑office) rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities As a member of the School of Dentistry team, you will foster positive relationships with peers, students, and leadership, supporting the mission, vision, values, and PROMISE standards of the organization.
Essential Functions
Support dentistry program registration, curriculum, grading, evaluations, and student affairs.
Assist university departments and faculty in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data for specialized reports.
Support Canvas and proctor exams.
Plan and develop student programs, events, and meetings with faculty regarding courses, required material, testing, and scheduling.
Maintain and analyze data related to program participants and efficacy.
Act as department liaison to program participants, community members, and external organizations.
Convey course information to students; may review student records for graduation requirement approval.
Perform clerical support: schedule appointments, attend faculty and departmental meetings, transcribe minutes, respond to phone calls, type correspondence, lectures, and manuscripts.
Plan program events, distribute itineraries, and coordinate or support catered events.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related area plus three years of experience in budget, grant, and program management or an equivalent combination (one year of education can substitute for two years of related work experience). Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are required. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
Preferences
Two years of direct academic program coordination experience, or
Direct academic advising experience or equivalency (one year of program coordination can substitute for two years of related work experience).
