Recruitment Consultant at LVI Associates | New York & New Jersey Transportation & Land Survey A well-established firm, dedicated to improving infrastructure across New York, is looking to add a Lead Transportation Planner to join their growing team. This firm has earned a reputation for excellence in civil and transportation engineering & has successfully completed a wide range of high-profile projects, including the design & rehabilitation of major bridges and transportation systems.
As a Transportation Planner, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to project development, & ensure that all engineering work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to significant projects that have a lasting impact on the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of multimodal transportation projects
Manage and mentor a team of planners and analysts
Coordinate with public agencies, consultants, and community stakeholders
Oversee transportation studies, modeling, and policy development
Present findings and recommendations to leadership, boards, and the public
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience in transportation planning, with leadership experience
Strong knowledge of transportation systems, modeling tools, and regulatory frameworks
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
Experience with GIS, travel demand modeling, and data visualization tools
Location: Upstate New York (Albany area)
