An established and award-winning engineering firm, recognized for its expertise in structural, civil, and transportation engineering, is seeking a Regional Transportation Operations Assistant Manager to support its growing team. This mid-size, multidisciplinary firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions on a diverse range of projects, including multi-million-dollar bridge rehabilitations and cutting-edge transportation systems. As the Regional Transportation Operations Assistant Manager, you will work closely with key clients and serve as both a Technical Specialist and Project Manager on multiple complex transportation projects. With a solid national presence and an award-winning portfolio, the firm's continued success depends on fostering collaboration and excellence within its team. Key Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations within the regional office, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards. Support senior management in developing and executing strategies to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and reinforce the firm's industry leadership. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction. Provide guidance to project management teams to ensure project completion, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Contribute to recruitment, mentoring, and staff development to foster professional growth and collaboration. Continuously evaluate and improve internal processes and systems to enhance project delivery and support ongoing success. Qualifications

A degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 15 years of experience in the civil industry. PE licensed in New York or the ability to obtain one within 6 months. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, staff, and stakeholders. Authorization to work in the United States. Additional Details
