Job Overview
We are seeking a
Transportation Engineer with Project Management experience
to support and grow traffic and transportation engineering services in the
Mobile, AL
area. This role combines hands‑on engineering work with project leadership and direct client interaction.
You will work closely with a Senior Transportation Planner and collaborate with transportation teams across multiple offices while managing projects from proposal through completion.
Responsibilities
Manage transportation and traffic engineering projects end-to-end
Apply traffic engineering and roadway design concepts to solve transportation challenges
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
Track and manage project budgets, schedules, and scope
Support proposal development for new transportation and traffic engineering work
Ensure high-quality technical delivery and successful project outcomes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
5+ years of experience in a civil/transportation consulting environment
Project management experience, including budget and scope control
Experience with traffic engineering, traffic planning, or roadway design
Working knowledge of CADD software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to lead projects to successful completion
