Job Description Job Description POSITION DESCRIPTION The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for overseeing the seamless transfer of manufacturing processes from one location to another, ensuring minimal disruption to production. This role requires strong expertise in process optimization, problem-solving, and compliance with industry standards. The Senior Project Engineer will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, maintain product quality, and ensure project objectives are met efficiently. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with engineering, quality, regulatory, supply planning, procurement, and production teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the transfer of manufacturing processes between locations, ensuring minimal disruption to production. Develop detailed project plans including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones. Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, regulatory, supply planning, procurement, production teams, and suppliers to align objectives and resolve issues. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and product quality. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Track and report on project progress, addressing deviations from the plan. Resolve technical or logistical problems to avoid delays and maintain production continuity. Prepare documentation and provide training to ensure the receiving location can operate new processes effectively. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in new product development or product transfer within a regulated industry (medical devices preferred). Experience with medical device manufacturing methods highly desirable. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to understand, interpret, and improve inspection and gauging methods, as well as quality systems. Basic knowledge of operations deliverables and documentation preferred. GD&T knowledge beneficial. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. COMPETENCIES Effective communication across multi-functional teams. Ability to build productive internal and external relationships. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision and periodic mentorship. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs. WORKING CONDITIONS Day shift / regular schedule. Professional manufacturing environment with cross-functional collaboration.
